SPIAGGIA DI KOLONA
La suggestiva e famosa spiaggia di Kythnos presenta una striscia di sabbia che divide il mare in due. Protetta dai venti, con acque cristalline, si trova a nord del porto di Mericha, a circa 9 km di distanza, ed è accessibile tramite una strada sterrata.

GROTTA DI KATAFYKI
Nel bell’abitato di Dryopida, c'è una delle più grandi grotte della Grecia. La parte naturale della grotta è stata creata da un torrente ed è adornata da stalagmiti e stalattiti mentre la parte artificiale è stata creata da lavori di estrazione mineraria. Durante la seconda guerra mondiale fungeva da rifugio per gli abitanti dell'isola.
MAROULAS
On the northeastern coast of Kythnos, near Loutra, there is the oldest settlement of the Cyclades. The open-air settlement dates back to the Mesolithic Age, 9,000-8,000 BC, and is one of its kind from that time in Greece.
VRYOKASTRO
Another archaeological site of utmost importance, the ancient capital of Kythnos. The coastal fortified city of the 10th century BC, Vryokastro, as it is called, includes unique finds such as the sanctuary of the goddess Demeter, foundations of altars, funerary reliefs and sculptures.
