SEAJETS donates three fully equipped Dialysis Units to Santorini Hospital.
SEAJETS, highlighting its strong “presence” in the public health needs of the island, in a period of deep humanitarian and economic crisis due to the difficult conditions caused by the pandemic, donates 3 dialysis chairs and 3 artificial kidney machines ‘Fresenius medical care’, strengthening the capacity of the Artificial Kidney Center of Santorini Hospital.
The vital offer of the three fully equipped Dialysis Units, aims to cover all the dialysis needs of the residents and visitors of the island, generally improving the quality of patient care.
The mayor of Thira, Antonis Sigalas, expressed his special thanks to the company in a letter, stating, among others, the following:
“Thank you for your generous offer which, with its content, constitutes an invaluable contribution to the society of Santorini and the surrounding islands, especially in the times of COVID-19. SEAJETS, in a financially difficult time for companies in this industry, donated to Santorini Hospital three fully equipped Dialysis Units. With a sense of social responsibility, the company responded to the national effort of shielding the health system, as well as to the crucial need of improving health services in our islands. I hope this initiative finds imitators so that the health and lives of our fellow human beings can be protected more effectively at a time when the threat of Coronavirus is growing.”
